Our take on the Fun Costumes 5.6 Foot Animatronic Evil Greeter Butler Decoration

The Fun Costumes Evil Greeter Butler is a 5.6-foot (68-inch) animated Halloween figure of a gaunt butler in black, gray and white, built to stand indoors on a weighted base. Its molded plastic head and hands sit on foam-covered metal arms, and it runs on a standard US wall outlet rather than batteries. It is a plug-in prop, so placement depends on an outlet and a covered, dry spot. No current price was provided for this page, so check the live comparison before buying.

Best forAdults hosting an indoor Halloween partyFoyers, hallways and covered porches with an outletHaunted-house and scary-scene setupsShoppers wanting a tall, plug-in animatronic rather than a battery prop
Pros
  • Tall 68-inch presence for the price class of home animatronics
  • Animated movement draws attention at a doorway or party entrance
  • Molded plastic head and hands hold detail better than fabric-only props
  • Foam-covered metal arms keep the figure light enough to move and store
  • Plug-in power avoids battery swaps during a party
Cons
  • Requires a nearby outlet and an extension cord may be needed
  • Indoor or covered use only; not built for rain
  • No battery option, so it cannot stand in a yard far from power
  • Assembly and storage take space for a 5.6-foot figure
  • Frightening design is not suited to young children

Questions and answers

Is the Evil Greeter Butler worth it?
It is a reasonable pick if you want a tall, animated indoor prop and have an outlet nearby. If you need a battery-powered outdoor figure, look elsewhere.
Does it run on batteries?
No. It plugs into a standard US wall outlet, so plan the placement around power and use an extension cord if needed.
Can it be used outdoors?
Only in a covered, dry area. The foam-covered arms and plug-in power make it an indoor or sheltered-porch prop, not a rain-safe yard decoration.
How tall is it and will it fit my space?
It stands 5.6 feet, or 68 inches, on its standing base. Measure your doorway or porch ceiling and leave clearance for the arms and head.
What is in the box?
The figure ships as one butler decoration with its standing base. Check the listing for the power cord and any assembly hardware before ordering.
When is it cheapest?
Halloween props usually discount in late October and clear out in early November. Watch the price history and buy before mid-October if you need it for the season.
