Is the Galaxy Watch 7 worth it at $174.97?

At $174.97 at Walmart as of November 6, 2026, it is a strong value for an Android user who wants GPS, ECG and sleep tracking. iPhone owners should look elsewhere.

How long does the battery last?

Samsung rates it at up to 40 hours. In practice most owners charge it daily, and heavy GPS use drains it faster.

Does it work with an iPhone?

It pairs with iPhones through the Samsung Wear app, but many health features and Samsung Pay are unavailable. It is built for Android, especially Samsung phones.

What is the difference between the 40mm and 44mm models?

The 44mm case has a larger screen and battery; the 40mm is lighter and suits smaller wrists. Features are otherwise the same.

Do I need a cellular plan?

Only for the cellular version. The Bluetooth and Wi-Fi model works without a plan but needs your phone nearby for calls and messages.

What comes in the box?

The watch, a magnetic charging cable and a quick-start guide. A wall adapter is not included.
