Does it really hold a 60 lb bag of dog food?

Yes. The 60 lb capacity is sized for a full large bag, with a little headroom for scooping. Very bulky kibble may fill it closer to the rim.

Is the lid truly airtight?

Yes. It uses a threaded screw-lock cap with double gaskets, which seals out air and moisture. Screw it down firmly for the best seal.

Can I leave it outdoors?

It is rated for indoor and outdoor use, but keep it out of direct sun and rain. A covered porch or garage is the safer spot.

Hand wash only with mild soap and water, then dry fully before refilling. It is not dishwasher safe.
