Our take on the Garett GRC Style Smartwatch

The Garett GRC Style is a budget smartwatch with a 1.72-inch IPS screen, Bluetooth 5.3 calling and notifications, and basic health tracking: heart rate, sleep, steps and calories. It has no GPS and no Wi-Fi, so workouts rely on your phone for route data. IP68 means it handles rain, splashes and hand washing but not swimming. Its only recorded price is $30.99, so there is no meaningful range to compare against; it is a low-cost watch, not a discounted one.

Best forBuyers who want notifications and step tracking for under $35Android and iPhone users who keep their phone nearby during workoutsPeople who prefer a round steel-look case over a plastic band watchCasual wear and everyday use where GPS is not needed
Pros
  • Large 1.72-inch IPS display for the price
  • Bluetooth 5.3 for calls and notifications
  • Heart rate, sleep, step and calorie tracking built in
  • IP68 water resistance for rain and splashes
  • Steel and silicone band options; 46 mm case suits larger wrists
Cons
  • No GPS, so distance and routes depend on your phone
  • No Wi-Fi; all syncing goes through Bluetooth
  • IPS panel, not OLED, so blacks look grey and battery drain is higher
  • No cellular, so calls only work through a paired phone
  • Only 15 ratings, so long-term reliability is hard to judge
