Is $99.99 a good price for a 9 x 12 rug?

It is a low price for the size, about $0.93 per square foot. Budget 9 x 12 polyester rugs commonly run $100 to $250, so $99.99 at Lowe's as of November 8, 2026 sits at the bottom of that band.

What is this rug made of and how does it feel?

It is 100% polyester with a flat, low pile. Expect a firm, thin surface rather than a plush one; a rug pad will add cushioning and keep it from sliding.

Can I use it outdoors or in a bathroom?

No. Garvee lists it for indoor use only, so keep it out of covered patios and wet rooms.

Vacuum regularly without a beater bar on high pile settings, and blot spills with mild soap and water. Polyester is stain-resistant but can mat if scrubbed hard.

Does it need a rug pad?

A pad is recommended. The rug is thin and no backing is stated, so a pad adds grip, cushioning and extends the rug's life.

What size room does a 9 x 12 rug fit?

It suits a standard living room with seating fully on the rug, or a dining room under a table for six to eight chairs. Measure your space first; 9 x 12 is one of the largest common stock sizes.
