Does the Elara Murphy bed include a mattress?

No. It is a bed frame and cabinet only, so you supply a queen mattress. Keep the mattress light, since you lift it every time you fold the bed up.

How much clearance does it need when open?

A queen mattress is about 60 by 80 inches, so plan for that footprint plus room to stand at the foot of the bed. Measure the wall height and the swing of the cabinet before buying.

Is $552.11 a good price for a queen Murphy bed?

It is low for a queen wall bed with a drawer and USB ports; most comparable units cost more. Only two stores list it new at that price as of November 7, 2026, so compare both before ordering.

Can I install it against drywall?

Wall beds must be anchored into studs or masonry, not drywall alone. If you cannot find studs where you want it, plan for a mounting board or a different spot.

What do the USB ports need?

They need a nearby outlet and are wired into the frame during assembly. Check the cable routing before you push the cabinet against the wall.

Does the drawer hold a full bedding set?

It is a single built-in drawer, sized for pillows or a folded quilt rather than a whole set. Expect to store the rest of the bedding elsewhere.
