Is the GDFStudio twin daybed worth it?

It is a reasonable pick if you need a twin bed that doubles as seating and hides a second bed. The trundle and tufted velvet are the main draws. Skip it if you need a mattress included or want something light enough to move alone.

What mattress sizes does it take?

The top takes a standard twin mattress, and the trundle takes a twin mattress up to 6 inches thick. Thicker trundle mattresses will not clear the frame.

How much weight does the trundle hold?

The trundle is rated for up to 500 lbs. That covers most adults, but the 6-inch mattress limit still applies.

Does it come with a mattress?

No. The frame and trundle are sold without mattresses, so budget for two twins, one of them a low-profile 6-inch model for the trundle.

How hard is assembly?

Expect a few hours with two people. The boxed frame is heavy at about 108 lbs, and the tufted panels and trundle hardware go together with the included tools.

When is the price lowest?

Upholstered daybeds like this tend to dip during holiday sales and end-of-season furniture events. Compare the current price with its recent range before buying.
