- Is $233 a good price for this microwave?
- Yes. At $233 at Appliance Liquidation Outlet as of November 6, 2026, it is near the bottom of the range for a 1.6 cu. ft. over-the-range unit with venting. Comparable new models usually cost more.
- Will it fit my existing over-the-range opening?
- It is 29.875 inches wide, 16.125 inches tall and 15.5625 inches deep, sized for a standard 30-inch opening. Check your cabinet cutout and the old unit's mounting plate before buying.
- Does it vent outside or recirculate?
- It can do either. The two-speed 300-CFM fan vents outdoors through ductwork or recirculates with a filter kit, depending on how it is installed.
- Does it need a special outlet?
- No. It runs on standard 120 V household power, the same circuit most over-the-range microwaves use.
- Does it have convection or sensor cooking?
- No. It is a microwave-only unit with defrost and timer functions, so it will not bake or brown like a convection model.
- How hard is it to install?
- It mounts to the cabinet above the range and typically needs two people because it weighs 63 lbs. Reusing the existing bracket is possible only if the mounting holes line up.
