Is this bulb worth it over an LED circline?

If your fixture has a Type A ballast and you want a cheap direct replacement, yes. An LED circline retrofit uses less power and lasts longer, but costs more per bulb and may need ballast bypass wiring.

Will it fit my fixture?

It fits fixtures that take a 4-pin circline tube about 9.5 inches across and run a Type A ballast. Measure your old tube and check the ballast label before ordering.

Can I use it with a dimmer?

No. The bulb is non-dimmable, so use it only on a standard on/off switch.

It is damp rated, so it works in covered porches, garages and bathrooms. It is not rated for direct rain or fully exposed locations.

How many bulbs come in the pack?

The listing is a 6-pack, though the spec sheet lists one bulb included. Confirm the pack quantity with the store before ordering if you need six.

Multi-packs like this usually drop in price during seasonal lighting sales and bulk contractor promotions. Compare the per-bulb price across stores rather than the pack total.

Our take on the GE 22W T9 Circline Fluorescent Bulb 6-Pack

The GE 22W T9 Circline is a circular fluorescent tube for ceiling fixtures, shop lights and under-cabinet lamps that take a 4-pin base. It runs on a Type A ballast, puts out cool white 4000K light, and is damp rated for indoor or outdoor use. The 6-pack suits anyone replacing several fixtures at once. No price was provided for this listing, so check the current per-bulb cost against other 22W circline sources before buying the pack.
