Can it run a refrigerator and a furnace?

Yes, typically. A fridge draws about 600 to 800 running watts and a gas furnace blower about 500 to 800, well within the 3,000 gas watts. Start-up surges are the limit, so add up starting watts.

About 16 hours at 50% load on a 20 lb tank, and about 19 hours at 25% load. Output drops to 2,700 running watts on propane.

Is it safe for laptops and phones?

Yes. Total harmonic distortion is under 3%, which is clean enough for laptops, phones, TVs and most electronics.

Does it have a 30A outlet for a transfer switch?

No. It has five 120V outlets and USB ports, but no 240V or 30A twist-lock outlet, so it is not set up for a whole-home transfer switch.
