Is the GEVI ECMG0 good for a beginner?

Yes. It is button-operated, comes with a 51mm portafilter and heats up fast, so there is little to learn before the first shot. Expect some practice with grind size and the steam wand.

Does it come with a grinder?

No. It is an espresso machine only, so you need a separate burr grinder and fresh beans to get good shots.

How many shots can it make at once?

One at a time. It is a single-cup brewer with one portafilter, so back-to-back shots are needed for guests.

Is the 20-bar pressure a problem?

Not directly, since the pump delivers more than the 9 bar espresso needs and the machine regulates it. The bigger factor for taste is your grind and dose.

Its best new price was $120.99 at GEVI as of November 7, 2026. Espresso machines like this often drop during holiday sales, so watch the price history.
