Is this bin worth it?

It is a simple, low-cost way to get potatoes and onions off the counter and into breathable storage. It makes sense if you want stacking and no assembly; skip it if you need a lidded or sealed container.

How much weight can it hold?

The listing gives no weight rating. Wire bins of this size typically handle a full load of potatoes, but keep the bottom bin on the floor of the stack and avoid piling past the rim.

Will small produce fall through the wire?

Small items like garlic cloves, shallots and cherry tomatoes can slip through the gaps. Use it for larger produce such as potatoes, onions and squash.

Can I stack more than two?

The flat top supports stacking, but tall stacks get unstable once loaded. Two bins is the practical limit on a counter.

Does it fit on a standard counter or pantry shelf?

At about 11.9 in wide, 10.2 in deep and 8.6 in tall, it fits most counters and shelves with roughly a foot of depth. Measure your shelf height before stacking two.

Wire storage bins usually dip during back-to-school and post-holiday home organization sales. Track the price history here and buy when it falls below the recent average.
