Our take on the GhostBed Luxe Foam 14" Memory Foam Mattress

The GhostBed Luxe is a 14-inch all-foam mattress with graphite- and gel-infused memory foam and a quilted cover, built for medium-firm support and marketed toward hot sleepers. It is GhostBed's premium foam model, above the original 11-inch GhostBed. The best new price is $3,398 at GhostBed as of November 6, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper alternative to compare against.

Best forHot sleepers who want cooling foamCouples wanting motion isolationBack and combination sleepersShoppers who want an all-foam bed without springs

Pros

Graphite and gel infusions plus a breathable quilted cover target heat buildup
14 inches of foam gives a plush top over a supportive medium-firm base
All-foam build limits motion transfer between partners
Made in Canada with domestic and imported materials
Marketed for all sleep positions, so it suits mixed sleepers

Cons

At $3,398 it sits at the top of the foam mattress market
Only one store sells it new, so there is little price competition
Medium-firm foam can feel too soft for strict stomach sleepers
All-foam beds lack the bounce some couples prefer
Heavy 14-inch foam mattresses are hard to move and rotate

Questions and answers

Is the GhostBed Luxe good for hot sleepers?: It is designed for them, with graphite- and gel-infused memory foam and a quilted cover meant to pull heat away. Owner feedback is mostly positive on cooling, though some still sleep warm.
How firm is the GhostBed Luxe?: GhostBed rates it medium-firm, with a plush quilted top over a denser foam core. Most side and back sleepers find it supportive, but stomach sleepers may want something firmer.
How does it compare with the original GhostBed?: The Luxe is 14 inches tall versus 11 for the original, adds graphite and gel infusions for cooling, and uses a plusher quilted cover. It also costs considerably more.
What is the best price for the GhostBed Luxe?: The best new price is $3,398 at GhostBed as of November 6, 2026. Only one store lists it new, so watch for direct-from-brand sales.
Does the GhostBed Luxe work on an adjustable base?: Yes. As an all-foam mattress it bends, so it suits adjustable bases and most standard foundations and slatted frames.
