Is the Giantex Upholstered Daybed worth it?

It is a reasonable buy if you want an upholstered twin daybed on a tight budget and already have a mattress. If you need deep cushioning for daily lounging or a larger size, spend more on a furniture-brand daybed.

Does it include a mattress?

No. It is sold as a frame only, so budget for a twin mattress. The included slats support the mattress without a box spring.

What mattress size fits?

A standard twin mattress, about 38 by 75 inches. A mattress around 8 to 10 inches thick sits best in the frame.

How hard is assembly?

Expect a few hours with two people. Owners commonly say the instructions are unclear, so sort the hardware before you start.

Can it be used as a sofa?

Yes. The upholstered back and arms let it serve as seating by day, though the padding is firm and thin compared with a real couch.

Budget furniture like this tends to dip during major sales events and at year-end clearance. Check the price history before buying.

Our take on the Giantex Upholstered Daybed

The Giantex Upholstered Daybed is a twin-size upholstered wood-frame daybed with slats included, sold as a frame only, so you supply the mattress. The upholstered back and sides let it work as a sofa by day and a bed at night, which suits small rooms and guest spaces. Slats mean you do not need a box spring. It is a budget-tier piece, so expect a lighter build than upholstered daybeds from furniture brands.
