Is the Fusion5 worth it over a disposable razor?

Yes, if you shave regularly. The handle is cheap at $9.99 and the five-blade head gives a closer shave than most disposables. The trade-off is that refills cost more than disposable razors.

Which refills fit this handle?

Any Gillette 5-blade refill fits, including Fusion5 and ProGlide cartridges. GilletteLabs refills do not fit.

What comes in the box?

One Fusion5 handle and four cartridge refills. No stand or travel case is included.

How does it compare with the Fusion5 Power?

The Power version adds a battery and vibration. This one is lighter, needs no batteries and costs less.

When is the best time to buy?

The $9.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026 is already near the bottom of its recent range. Refill multipacks tend to drop around Black Friday and Prime Day.

Our take on the Gillette Fusion5 Razor

The Gillette Fusion5 is a five-blade cartridge razor for men, sold here as a handle plus four refills. The head pivots and carries a Lubrastrip for glide, and a single trimmer blade on the back handles sideburns and edges. At $9.99 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, and only two stores list it new.
