Our take on the GIVIMO 12-in Car Subwoofer Bass Package 245W RMS Loaded Sealed Enclosure with Built-in Amplifier and Wiring Kit

The GIVIMO Bass Package is a 12-inch subwoofer pre-mounted in a sealed enclosure with a built-in amplifier rated at 245 watts RMS. It ships as an active system, so you don't need a separate amp, and it includes a wiring kit. That makes it a one-box upgrade for a car with a stock stereo and no sub. It suits shoppers who want more low end without building a custom system.

Pros
  • Active design: amplifier is built into the enclosure
  • Sealed box gives tight, controlled bass
  • 12-inch driver moves more air than smaller subs
  • Wiring kit included, so fewer extra parts to buy
  • 245W RMS is enough for everyday listening levels
Cons
  • Sealed enclosure trades deep-output volume for accuracy
  • Built-in amp limits upgrade paths later
  • No published frequency response or tuning specs
  • Single 245W RMS rating is modest for a 12-inch sub

Questions and answers

Is this worth it over buying a sub and amp separately?
For a simple upgrade, yes. You get the driver, box, amp and wiring in one purchase, which saves matching parts and building an enclosure. Separate components give more tuning freedom but cost more and take more work.
Will 245 watts RMS be loud enough?
It is enough to add noticeable bass to a stock system in a car or small SUV. It won't match high-output competition setups. Expect a solid low-end fill rather than window-shaking output.
Does it fit in a typical trunk?
A 12-inch sealed enclosure is fairly bulky, so measure your trunk or cargo area before buying. Hatchbacks and SUVs usually have an easier fit than small sedans.
What is in the box?
The loaded enclosure with its built-in amplifier and a wiring kit. Check the listing for the exact cable lengths and fuse rating before you plan the install.
Can I keep my factory radio?
Yes. An active enclosure like this takes a signal from your head unit or speaker-level output, so the stock radio can stay. You may need a line-output converter if the radio has no subwoofer preamp output.
