Our take on the Globe Electric Dayton 52-in Color-Changing Integrated LED Outdoor Smart White Brush Gold

The Globe Electric Dayton is a 52-inch outdoor-rated smart ceiling fan with an integrated color-changing LED light and a remote. It has six speeds and a white finish with brushed gold accents. At $209.98 at Lowe's as of November 7, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against. The integrated LED means no bulbs to buy, but the light is not replaceable if it fails.

Questions and answers

Is the LED light replaceable?
No. The LED is integrated into the fixture, so if it fails the light assembly has to be replaced rather than a bulb.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. It is rated for outdoor use, but it should be under a covered area rather than fully exposed to rain.
Does it work with Alexa or Google Home?
It is a smart fan that pairs with the Globe Electric app and works with voice assistants through that app. Check the app's current compatibility list before buying.
What size room does a 52-inch fan suit?
A 52-inch fan fits rooms roughly 12 by 12 feet up to about 18 by 20 feet, such as large living rooms or covered patios.
Is $209.98 a good price?
It is the only new price listed as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare. Comparable 52-inch smart LED fans often sell in the $180 to $300 range.
What is in the box?
The fan, integrated LED light, downrod, mounting hardware and a remote control. Blades and canopy are included.
Where is the Globe Electric Dayton 52-in Color-Changing Integrated LED Outdoor Smart White Brush Gold cheapest?
At Lowe's, for $209.98, as of our latest check.
