Is the Gocio folding e-bike worth it?

At $337.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is one of the cheapest folding e-bikes you can buy. Expect budget components and a heavy frame; it suits short commutes and occasional trail rides more than daily long-distance use.

What is the real range on a charge?

Gocio claims 25-30 miles of pedal-assist range in its description, while the listing's spec sheet says 50 miles. Treat 20-25 miles as realistic with mixed pedal assist, less if you rely on the throttle.

The motor is rated for about 20 mph, and Gocio lists 19.8 mph in the description. That keeps it within the Class 2 limit used in most US states.

Does it fit in a car trunk?

Yes, the frame folds, but at 64 lbs it takes two hands and some effort to lift. Measure your trunk first; the folded footprint is roughly 3.5 feet long.

What comes in the box?

You get the bike, the removable 48V 7.8Ah battery, a charger and basic assembly tools. Pedals and the front wheel typically need to be attached, so budget 30-60 minutes for setup.

Only one store, Walmart, lists it new at $337.99 as of November 4, 2026, so there is little price competition. Watch for seasonal sales events, when budget e-bikes often drop.
