Is the queen bed frame worth it over a basic metal frame?

If you need drawer storage, yes. The footboard drawers replace a dresser or under-bed bins, and the panel headboard gives the room a finished look. A plain metal frame is cheaper but stores nothing.

Do I need a box spring?

No. The bed is designed to take a queen mattress directly on the rails. A low-profile box spring is optional if you want extra height.

What exactly comes in the five-piece set?

One complete queen bed, one dresser, one mirror, one chest and one nightstand. A second nightstand, the mattress and all bedding are not included.

Will the dresser and chest fit a small bedroom?

Measure first. The dresser is about 58.7 inches wide and the chest about 31.7 inches wide, both roughly 15.3 inches deep. The bed alone needs about 90 inches of floor depth.

Can the mirror hang on the wall instead of the dresser?

Yes. It can hang horizontally or vertically, and it also attaches to the dresser if you prefer that.

When is this set cheapest?

Bedroom collections usually drop during major holiday sales and clearance events. Watch the price history on this page rather than buying at full list.

Our take on the Golden Oak Look Queen Panel Bed & Bedroom Collection

A five-piece queen bedroom set in a golden rustic finish over replicated oak grain: panel bed, dresser, mirror, chest and one nightstand. The bed has a storage footboard with six smooth-gliding drawers, and the nightstand adds two USB charging ports. Engineered wood construction keeps the price down, and no box spring is required. The set is sold in several configurations, so check which pieces you are buying before ordering.
