Is the Goldilocks 8 quart stockpot worth it?

It is a fair buy at $91.47 if you want fully clad tri-ply steel and induction support. Cheaper stockpots at this size often use a single base disc rather than clad walls.

How many people does 8 quarts serve?

Goldilocks says it feeds about eight hungry people. Eight quarts is a standard size for a family batch of stock, chili or pasta sauce, with room to spare for boiling.

Does it work on induction?

Yes. The tri-ply construction is induction-compatible, and it also works on gas, electric coil and ceramic cooktops.

The pot and its lid. The lid also fits Goldilocks's 10-inch skillet.

How does it compare with a taller 8 quart stockpot?

It is wider and shallower at 10.25 inches across and 5.7 inches tall. That makes stirring and reducing easier, but it takes more stovetop and cabinet width than a tall narrow pot.
