Questions and answers

Is 3 inches thick enough for everyday sleeping?

For occasional use and back or stomach sleepers, yes. Side sleepers and heavier adults often want 4 to 6 inches to keep hips and shoulders off the floor.

Does it need to be aired out before first use?

Yes. Memory foam shipped compressed usually needs 24 to 72 hours to expand fully, and airing it out helps clear the new-foam smell.

Can it be folded or rolled for storage?

It can be rolled for storage or moving, but leaving it compressed long term can flatten the foam. Store it flat or loosely rolled.

What size sheets fit it?

It takes standard queen sheets, 60 x 80 inches. Deep-pocket sheets may fit loosely on a 3-inch mattress.

Is it firm enough for stomach sleepers?

The medium comfort level gives moderate support. Stomach sleepers who need a firmer surface may find it too soft.

When is the price lowest?

Floor mattresses often drop during back-to-school and holiday sales. The current $84.59 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026 is the only new price listed, so watch for markdowns around those events.

Where is the Goodone Japanese Floor Mattress Futon, Boho, Queen cheapest?
