Is $450 a good price for the Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Elite?

It is the only new price found, $450 at Mercari as of November 7, 2026, so there is no competing new-store price to beat. Whether it is good depends on how much of the 100 ft you can use; compare against Govee's smaller kits if your run is shorter.

How does the Elite differ from Govee's other permanent outdoor lights?

The Elite line is the premium tier, with individually addressable lights and a longer 100 ft run. Standard Govee permanent kits are shorter and use simpler light segments.

Can I cut the strip to fit my roofline?

Govee's permanent strips are built in fixed segments and are not meant to be cut at arbitrary points. Plan your run around the 100 ft length or add extension kits rather than trimming.

Does it work with Alexa and Google Assistant?

Yes. It supports both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on, change colors and trigger scenes by voice after linking the Govee app.

What do I need for installation?

Expect to mount the strip under eaves or fascia, route the power adapter to an outdoor outlet, and add clips or screws for a secure hold. A ladder, drill and careful measuring make the job easier.

Govee lighting typically drops during Black Friday and holiday sales. With only one new price listed, watch for seasonal discounts rather than expecting everyday competition.
