Does the Greenworks 40V blower come with a battery?

No. The battery and charger are sold separately, and the listed $165 at Amazon as of November 6, 2026 covers the tool and collection bag only.

How long does it run on a charge?

About 30 minutes with a 72Wh 40V battery, and less if you hold the turbo button. A full recharge takes roughly 150 minutes.

Can it vacuum and mulch leaves?

Yes. It converts to a vacuum with a 12:1 mulch ratio and collects debris in the included 50 L bag.

Which batteries fit it?

It uses Greenworks 40V G-Max lithium-ion batteries, the same packs as other tools in that line.

Is it good for large yards?

It suits small to mid-size yards. For big properties, plan on spare batteries or a gas or backpack blower.

When is the best time to buy it?

Fall leaf season and spring yard-care sales are when it is discounted most. Check the price history before buying outside those windows.

Our take on the Greenworks 40V Cordless Leaf Blower/Vacuum

The Greenworks 40V is a cordless blower that converts to a vacuum and mulcher, with a 12:1 mulch ratio and a 50 L collection bag. It pushes up to 230 MPH and 505 CFM through a variable-speed dial with cruise control and a turbo button. The battery is not included, so the $165 at Amazon as of November 6, 2026 is for the tool alone. That price sits at the low end of what this kit has sold for recently.
