Questions and answers

Is native 1080p sharp enough for a 100-inch screen?
Yes, at 100 inches native 1080p looks crisp from normal seating distance. Push toward 200 inches and pixels become visible, so keep the image smaller for the best sharpness.
Does it really project 4K?
No. It accepts 4K input signals but projects at native 1080p. The 4K support means it can downscale a 4K source, not display 4K.
How bright is it, and can I use it with lights on?
It is an LED projector aimed at dark rooms. With lights on or daylight coming in, the image washes out; close the curtains for movie nights.
Can I connect a soundbar or speaker?
Yes. Bluetooth 5.1 lets you send audio to a Bluetooth speaker or soundbar, and HDMI carries audio to a receiver. The built-in speaker is fine for casual viewing only.
What is in the box?
Expect the projector, a power cable, an HDMI cable, an AV cable and a remote. A 100-inch portable screen is listed with it, so confirm the bundle before ordering.
When is it cheapest?
Budget projectors like this usually dip during Black Friday, Prime Day and back-to-school sales. Check the price history on this page and buy when it is near its recent low.
