The Gymax 6V ATV is a small four-wheel ride-on for young children, styled like a quad with working LED lights, a horn and built-in music. It runs on a 6V battery that takes 8 to 12 hours to charge and carries riders up to 44 lbs. The frame mixes PP plastic and steel. At $71.39 at Macy's as of November 6, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Gymax 6V ATV worth it?
For a first ride-on for a toddler, yes: it is cheap, stable on four wheels and has lights, horn and music. Expect slow speeds and short run time, so it suits flat pavement, not grass.
How fast does it go?
A 6V ride-on like this typically tops out around 1.5 to 2 mph, a walking pace for a small child. It is meant for flat, hard surfaces.
How long does the battery last and how long to charge?
Charge time is 8 to 12 hours per the specs. Run time is usually under an hour of stop-and-go play, so charge it overnight after each use.
What age and weight is it for?
The weight limit is 44 lbs, which fits most toddlers and preschoolers. Gymax lists the age range as all ages, but adult supervision is needed for young riders.
What comes in the box?
The ride-on, battery and charger, plus assembly hardware. It ships unassembled, so plan on an adult build before first use.
When is it cheapest?
At $71.39 at Macy's as of November 6, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no lower recent price to wait for. Holiday sales are the usual time for ride-on discounts.
Where is the Gymax 6V 4 Wheels ATV Quad Ride On Car Kids Ride-On Toy with Music Horn LED Light cheapest?
At Macy's, for $71.39, as of our latest check.
