Question 1

Is the Gymax hose reel cart worth it?

Accepted Answer

At $74.99 it is a cheap way to hold a long hose and move it around. If you need a cart that rolls easily on rough ground, a four-wheel model may suit you better.

Question 2

How much hose does it hold?

Accepted Answer

Up to 230 ft of 5/8-inch hose. That covers most large yards in one run.

Question 3

Does it come with a hose?

Accepted Answer

No. The cart is sold without a hose, so budget for one separately.

Question 4

Can it stay outside in winter?

Accepted Answer

It is metal, so drain the hose and store the cart under cover to limit rust. The one-year parts warranty covers defects, not weather damage.

Question 5

How does it compare with a four-wheel cart?

Accepted Answer

A two-wheel cart is cheaper and simpler but has to be tipped and pulled. Four-wheel carts roll flat but cost more.
