- Will it fit my sofa?
- Stretch slipcovers are sized to standard sofa dimensions and rely on the fabric's give. Measure your sofa's length, seat depth and arm height against the brand's size chart before ordering, since oversized or sectional sofas often need a specific size.
- Is the velvet hard to clean?
- The cover is removable and machine washable, which is the main reason to choose a slipcover over upholstery. Wash cold and air dry or tumble low, because heat can shrink the stretch fabric and dull the pile.
- Does it stay in place?
- The elastic hem and stretch hold it on, but the fabric can shift where people sit most. Tucking excess into the seat creases and using the included foam or cardboard anchors helps keep it tight.
- Is $64.99 a good price?
- It is the only new price listed as of November 7, 2026, at Lowe's, so there is no recent range to compare. Comparable velvet stretch sofa covers generally run in the $40 to $90 range, so this sits mid-pack.
- Will the burgundy match my room?
- Wine burgundy is a deep red with a warm undertone, and velvet shifts shade with the light. Order one cover first if you are matching an existing rug or paint color.
- What is in the box?
- You get the slipcover itself, usually with foam or cardboard tuck-in strips to hold it in the seat creases. Check the listing for the exact size and included anchors.
- Where is the H.Versailtex Modern Velvet Plush HighStretch Slipcover Soft Elastic Fit Wine Burgundy cheapest?
- At Lowe's, for $64.99, as of our latest check.
