Our take on the Haflinger Fizz Women's Slippers

The Haflinger Fizz is a women's boiled-wool slip-on slipper with a wool lining, a cork-and-wool footbed and a rubber outsole. It is built like a soft house shoe that can step outside briefly, at about 10 oz per pair. The best new price is $160 at Zappos as of November 8, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition to shop around.

Questions and answers

Is the Haflinger Fizz worth $160?
It is a premium wool slipper with a cork footbed and rubber sole, so you pay for materials and construction. If you want a warm slipper that lasts several seasons, it can be worth it; for occasional wear, cheaper wool slippers do the job.
How does the Fizz compare with Haflinger's clog styles?
The Fizz is a lower slip-on slipper with a soft wool upper, while Haflinger's classic clogs have a firmer cork sole and a closed heel. The Fizz is lighter and easier to slide on; the clogs give more support.
Does the cork footbed need breaking in?
Yes. The cork and wool insole starts firm and molds to your foot over a week or two of wear. Wear them indoors first before long walks outside.
Can I wear the Fizz outside?
The rubber outsole gives grip for short trips to the mailbox or patio. It is not a walking shoe, and the wool upper should not get soaked.
What sizes does the Fizz come in?
US women's sizes 5, 6 and 7 in normal width. The fit is snug, so size up if you wear thick socks.
When is the price lowest?
With only one store listing it new at $160 as of November 8, 2026, there is no competing price to wait for. Watch for seasonal sales at that store rather than expecting a lower listing elsewhere.
Where is the Haflinger Fizz Women's Slippers cheapest?
At Zappos, for $160.00, as of our latest check.
