The Hamilton Beach Personal One Cup Pod Brewer 49970 is a compact single-serve coffee maker that brews one cup from Melitta-style pods. It has no glass carafe, a 12 oz water tank, a permanent filter and a removable drip tray, and it shuts off automatically. It measures about 8.3 inches tall and 4.4 inches wide, so it fits tight counters, office break rooms and hotel rooms. It is a low-cost way into pod coffee, but it uses Melitta pods rather than the K-Cup format most people know.
Lowest price we've seen: $27.00 on Oct 30 at KitchenRestock.com. Tracked across 1 store since Oct 30.
With 31 ratings averaging 4.1 out of 5, owners mostly treat this as a simple, cheap pod brewer that does one job. Complaints tend to center on pod compatibility and the small water tank rather than the coffee itself.
