Questions and answers

Is the Hamilton Beach Sure Crisp worth it?
At $39.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is a cheap way to get air frying and toasting in one small unit. Expect basic performance and some uneven cooking rather than premium results.
How does it compare with a dedicated basket air fryer?
It is more versatile because it also toasts and broils, but basket fryers usually crisp food faster and more evenly. Choose this if counter space and price matter more than maximum crispness.
How much food fits in a 4-slice oven?
It handles about four slices of toast or a single portion or two of air-fried food. It is best for singles and couples, not family meals.
Does it have automatic shutoff?
Yes. The oven has automatic shutoff, which cuts power when the set time runs out.
What is the maximum temperature?
It reaches 450°F, which is enough for broiling and crisping most foods.
When is the best time to buy it?
It is already near the low end of its recent range at $39.99. Watch for holiday sales, when small countertop ovens often drop further.
