Questions and answers

Does this filter soften hard water?
No. It targets chlorine and heavy metals with KDF 55 and calcium sulfite. It does not remove calcium or magnesium, so hard water scale will continue.
Will it fit my existing shower head?
Yes. It uses standard 1/2" NPT connections and works with fixed, handheld, rain and inline shower heads.
How often do I replace the cartridge?
Every 6 to 12 months depending on use and water quality. Homes with heavy use or high chlorine should replace closer to 6 months.

The shower head side is rated at 2.5 gpm, the federal maximum. Expect little to no pressure loss compared with an unfiltered head.

The brass filter housing and one internal KDF 55 and calcium sulfite cartridge. Shower head and shower arm are not included.
