Our take on the Hampplies Cooling Breathable Car Seat Cushion

The Hampplies Cooling Breathable Car Seat Cushion is a single seat pad made of ice silk over memory foam, sold in a bugs-and-butterflies print and listed for CUV fitment. The ice silk top is meant to feel cool and breathe, while the memory foam adds padding over a stock seat. No price or price history is available for this listing, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Pros
  • Ice silk top is designed to feel cool and breathe
  • Memory foam adds cushioning on longer drives
  • Single pad is easy to move between seats
  • Distinct bugs-and-butterflies print
Cons
  • One pad only, so a full front pair needs two
  • Fitment is listed as specific, so check your CUV's seat shape
  • Ice silk and foam need careful washing; care notes are thin
  • No price data to judge whether it is a good deal

Questions and answers

Is this cushion actually cooling?
Ice silk feels cooler to the touch than vinyl or leather and breathes better than a solid pad. It does not refrigerate the seat, so expect a cooler surface rather than air conditioning.
Will it fit my car?
Fitment is listed as specific for CUVs, so measure your seat base and check the pad's dimensions before buying. It is not listed as a universal fit.
How many pads come in the box?
One pad. If you want both front seats covered, order two.
Can I wash it?
The fabric care field lists only "1 x pad" and gives no washing instructions. Spot clean the ice silk and avoid soaking the memory foam unless the seller confirms otherwise.
Is it worth buying?
It is a reasonable pick if you want a cooler, padded seat surface and like the print. Without a listed price, compare it against plain ice silk or gel cushions before deciding.
