Is the Hampton Bay Rayburn fan worth it?

For a medium or large indoor room, it bundles a fan, LED light and remote in one purchase, which is a good value. Buyers rate it 4.6 out of 5, though from only 28 ratings.

What size room does a 52-inch fan fit?

A 52-inch fan suits rooms roughly 12 by 14 feet or larger, such as a living room or a large bedroom. In a small bedroom it may move more air than you need.

Can the Rayburn be used outdoors?

No. It is an indoor ceiling fan, so it is not rated for damp or wet locations like porches or patios.

Does it come with a remote and a light?

Yes. The fan includes an integrated LED light and a remote that controls fan speed and the light. No separate light kit or pull chains are needed.

Can I change the blade finish?

Yes. The blades are reversible, so you can flip them to show the other finish. That gives you two looks without buying extra blades.

When is the best time to buy it?

Ceiling fans often drop in price during spring and early summer, before cooling season, and again around holiday sales. Check the price history before buying.
