Our take on the Handmade Ceramic Bisque Carousel Horse Sculpture

This is a handmade ceramic bisque figurine of a carousel horse, sold unpainted in its raw bisque state. Bisque is fired clay that has not been glazed, so the surface is matte and slightly porous, ready for acrylics, oils or stains if you want to finish it yourself. It suits collectors of carousel and horse pieces and crafters who paint ceramics. No price or store was provided, so there is no price history to compare.

Questions and answers

Can I display it outdoors?
No. Unglazed bisque absorbs moisture and will stain or degrade. Keep it indoors, away from damp.
How big is it?
No dimensions were provided. Ask the seller for height and weight before buying, since handmade pieces vary.
Is each one identical?
No. Handmade ceramic pieces vary in detail and finish from one to the next.
How should I clean it?
Dust with a soft dry brush. Avoid soaking it in water, which porous bisque will absorb.
