Questions and answers

Is the Handy Home Rookwood shed worth it?
It is a reasonable value if you want a wood shed and can handle assembly. Budget for a foundation and paint or sealant on top of the kit price.
Does the kit include a floor and foundation?
The floor is included. The foundation is not, so you need a level base such as a concrete slab or wood platform before building.
How hard is it to assemble?
Expect a multi-day project for two or more people. The panels are pre-cut, but squaring the base and roof takes care and patience.
Can I lock it?
Yes. It comes with a keyed, rust-resistant locking handle, so the door can be secured with the included lock.
How much wind and snow can it handle?
It is rated for up to 90 mph wind and a 30 psf roof load. Check local snow loads before relying on it in heavy-snow areas.
What are the dimensions?
It is 10 feet wide by 12 feet deep, about 14 feet long overall with the roof overhang, and 104.5 inches tall. Storage capacity is about 1,019 cubic feet.
