Our take on the Hanes Men's Boxer Brief Underwear Pack, Cotton Boxer Briefs with Comfort Flex Waistband, Moisture-Wicking, 12-Pack

A 12-pack of Hanes men's boxer briefs in 100% cotton with a Comfort Flex waistband, tagless construction and a functional fly. The fabric is Hanes' ComfortSoft cotton with some stretch, and the brand lists moisture-wicking for everyday wear. Buying in a 12-pack brings the per-pair cost well below single pairs, so the value depends on fit and how the cotton holds up over repeated washes.

Cons

Questions and answers

Are these boxer briefs true to size?
Hanes sizes these by waist measurement, with the small listed for a 28-30 inch waist. Cotton has little stretch recovery, so if you are between sizes, size up for a looser fit.
Are they good for workouts?
They are everyday cotton briefs, not athletic underwear. The moisture-wicking finish helps, but all-cotton fabric stays damp longer than a polyester blend during heavy sweating.
How does the 12-pack compare with the 10-pack Super Value Pack?
Both use the same Hanes cotton boxer brief construction and Comfort Flex waistband. The 12-pack gives two more pairs; the 10-pack is the assorted Super Value Pack, so check which colors each pack includes.
Do they have a fly?
Yes. These boxer briefs have a functional fly and a regular-rise waist.
How should I wash them to keep the fit?
Machine wash cold and tumble dry low. High heat shrinks cotton and wears out the waistband elastic faster.
When is the best time to buy a multipack?
Multipacks are usually discounted during back-to-school and holiday sales. Compare the per-pair price across stores rather than the pack total.
