Questions and answers

Is this snow cone machine worth it for a family?
Yes, if you make snow cones a few times a week in summer. It is cheap to run at 55 watts and uses plain ice cubes. For large parties, expect to refill the hopper often.
Does it use regular ice cubes or block ice?
Regular ice cubes. It does not take block ice, so you can use freezer trays or bagged ice.
How big are the batches?
The hopper is small, so it makes a few cones per fill. Plan on refilling between servings for a group.
Is it safe for kids to use?
The locking lid keeps hands away from the stainless steel blade while it runs. An adult should still load the ice and handle cleanup.
What comes in the box?
The machine and a set of recipes. Cups, syrups and ice are not included.
When is it cheapest?
