Is $19 a good price for these tumblers?

There is only one new listing, $19.00 at Poshmark as of November 3, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare against. Vintage Hefty packs in sealed packaging often sell in this range, but you are paying for age and packaging, not cup count.

Can I actually use vintage plastic tumblers?

They were made for cold drinks and are fine for punch or eggnog. Avoid hot liquids, microwaving and harsh dishwasher cycles, since 1980s plastic can warp or craze with heat.

Two packs of 9 oz tumblers, 16 cups total, in red and green with the "Seasons Greetings" design. They come in the original 1980s packaging.

Are these the same as current Hefty cups?

No. Today's Hefty disposable cups are thin and made for one-time use. These are sturdier "crystal plastic" tumblers from the 1980s, which is why they are sold as vintage collectibles.

When is the price lowest?

Vintage listings like this depend on the individual seller, and with one listing there is no seasonal pattern to wait for. If it sells, the next comparable pack may be priced differently.

Our take on the Hefty Vintage Holiday Tumblers 9 oz, 16 Count

These are 1980s Hefty plastic tumblers in red and green with a "Seasons Greetings" design, sold as two packs of 16 total cups at 9 oz each. They are new old stock in the original packaging and have never been used, so this is a collectible or retro-decor buy rather than a modern party pack. The only new listing is $19.00 at Poshmark as of November 3, 2026, with no other new sellers to compare against.
