How much lobelia extract should I take?

Follow the label or a practitioner's guidance. Lobelia is potent, so most users start with a few drops rather than a full dropper.

Does it contain alcohol?

Herb Pharm liquid extracts are typically alcohol-based tinctures. Check the bottle label for the exact percentage if you avoid alcohol.

Is it safe for children or during pregnancy?

Lobelia is not recommended for pregnant or nursing women or young children without professional advice. Ask a clinician before use.

Is this the same as lobelia capsules?

No. This is a liquid tincture, which absorbs quickly and allows drop-level dosing, while capsules are fixed-dose.

When is the price lowest?

Only one store, Herbspro, lists it new at $12.79 as of November 8, 2026, so there is little price variation to time.

Our take on the Herb Pharm Lobelia Extract

Herb Pharm Lobelia Extract is a liquid lobelia (Lobelia inflata) tincture sold in a 1 fl oz bottle, extracted in an alcohol base and labeled gluten free. Lobelia is a traditional herb used for respiratory support and as a relaxant; it is potent and should be used in small, measured doses. The best new price is $12.79 at Herbspro as of November 8, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no recent price range to compare against.
