Is the Hey Dude Grey worth it for a kid?

If you want a light, comfortable slip-on for everyday wear, yes. It is not a substitute for a supportive athletic shoe for sports or long walks.

How does Hey Dude sizing run for kids?

Hey Dude kids' sizes generally run close to standard US kids' sizing, but some owners report they run slightly small. This listing covers Big Kid 8 and 8.5, so measure the foot and size up if between sizes.

Can these shoes be machine washed?

Yes. Hey Dude shoes are designed to be machine washable on a cold, gentle cycle and air dried. Avoid the dryer, which can warp the insole and outsole.

Are Hey Dude shoes good for school?

They work for casual school days because kids can slip them on without laces. Check the dress code, since the knit look is casual rather than uniform-style.
