Is the Hisense HP100 worth it?

It is worth it if you want loud, bass-heavy sound for parties and outdoor use at a low price per watt. If you need portability or accurate sound, a smaller premium speaker is a better fit.

How does it compare with the Hisense HP120 or other party speakers?

The HP100 is the smaller 300 W model with a single 5.25-inch subwoofer. Larger party speakers usually add more drivers, lights and battery runtime, so compare wattage and weight before choosing.

Does it have a battery?

The listed contents include only a power cable, and no battery runtime is specified. Treat it as a mains-powered speaker unless a retailer confirms an internal battery.

Can I pair two HP100 speakers together?

Yes. The TWS system links two units wirelessly for stereo sound, which is the main reason to buy a second one.

Is it waterproof enough for a pool party?

It is rated IPX4, which resists splashes and light rain. Do not leave it in standing water or heavy rain.

When is the Hisense HP100 cheapest?

Party speakers usually drop during Black Friday, back-to-school and end-of-summer sales. Watch the price history and buy when it sits near the low end of its recent range.

Our take on the Hisense HP100

The Hisense HP100 is a portable party speaker with a 5.25-inch active subwoofer, a tweeter, and 300 W of rated output in a 9.5 kg metal-and-plastic cabinet. It adds Bluetooth 5.0, USB and wired inputs, TWS pairing for a second unit, five DJ effects, and IPX4 splash resistance for outdoor use. It is a loud, bass-forward box rather than a hi-fi speaker.
