Is this rug actually machine washable?

Yes. The maker specifies a cold, gentle cycle and air drying. A 4' x 6' rug needs a large-capacity or commercial machine; otherwise spot clean and vacuum.

Will it stay put on hardwood or tile?

It has a non-slip backing, so it should grip hard floors without a separate pad. On thick carpet or with heavy foot traffic, a rug pad adds grip.

Is it good with pets?

The low-pile stain-resistant velvet is easy to vacuum and wipe, and the maker calls it pet-friendly. It is not chew-proof, and muddy paws still mean washing.

What sizes does it come in?

The line is offered in four sizes, from small entryway runners up to larger living room sizes. This listing is the 4' x 6'.

Is $38.79 a good price?

It is the best new price among the two stores that list it as of November 8, 2026, at roughly $1.62 per square foot. That is low for a washable 4' x 6' rug.

Can it be used outdoors or in a bathroom?

No. It is rated for indoor placement only, and the velvet pile is not built for moisture.
