Questions and answers

Is the HOKA Transport X good for daily running?
It works as a light neutral daily trainer for shorter to mid-distance road runs. Runners who want maximum cushioning for long distances should look at HOKA's Bondi or Clifton lines instead.
How does the Transport X fit compared with other HOKA shoes?
Reviews are mixed on fit, and some buyers say it runs differently than Clifton or Bondi. Try your usual HOKA size first, and size up if you wear thick socks.
Is it waterproof?
No. It has a mesh upper with no Gore-Tex membrane, so it is not water-resistant. Avoid it for rainy runs or wet trails.
What is the drop and weight?
It has a 5 mm heel-to-toe drop and weighs about 8.8 oz (250 g) in a men's sample size.
When is the best time to buy the Transport X?
The best new price was $94.99 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, against a list price of about $150–$160. Prices usually drop further when HOKA clears colors ahead of a new season.
Where is the HOKA Transport X cheapest?
At eBay, for $94.99, 53% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
