Is a 6-inch mattress thick enough for adults?

It works for occasional use, kids and lighter adults. Most adults who sleep on it nightly will want at least 8 inches for support.

Does the tri-fold mattress fit standard sheets?

The Queen is 80 by 60 inches, a standard Queen footprint, so Queen sheets fit. The folds make fitted sheets sit loosely.

How firm is the HOMCOM tri-fold mattress?

It is on the firm side. The thin foam compresses quickly, so side sleepers may feel pressure on hips and shoulders.

Can it be used on the floor or on a frame?

Yes to both. It lies flat on the floor for guests and also fits inside a standard bed frame.

When is the price lowest?

The best new price was $144.95 at eBay as of November 7, 2026. Tri-fold mattresses often drop during back-to-school and holiday sales.
