- Are these candles really waterproof?
- They are rated for outdoor use, so rain and sprinklers on a porch or patio should be fine. Don't submerge them in water or leave them in standing puddles.
- What batteries do they take?
- Each candle runs on small button-cell batteries, and the set usually ships with them installed. Check the battery compartment for the exact size before buying spares.
- How does the timer work?
- Set the timer with the remote and the candles turn on and off on a repeating cycle, typically 6 hours on and 18 off. The cycle restarts each time you switch them on.
- Can I use the remote for all three candles at once?
- Yes, one remote controls the set, and you can also run each candle on its own switch. Keep the remote pointed at the candles within a few feet.
- Is $11.35 a good price for the set of three?
- At $11.35 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, it is a low price for a remote-controlled set of three. Comparable sets often cost more, so this is a fair buy if you need outdoor candles.
- Do they give off heat or smell?
- No. They are LED only, so there is no heat, smoke or scent, which makes them safe around curtains, kids and pets.
