Our take on the HOMEMYSTIQUE Waterfall Single Handle Single Hole Bathroom Faucet in Matte Black

A single-hole, single-lever bathroom faucet in matte black with a wide waterfall spout. It ships with the drain, deck plate and mounting hardware, so no extra parts are needed for a standard vanity install. The 5.91 in height keeps it low over the sink, and the 2.0 GPM flow is on the high side for a bathroom tap. It is a budget-tier fixture with a small review base, so expect cosmetic finish wear sooner than on premium brands.

Pros
  • Drain, deck plate and hardware included
  • Single-hole install fits most modern vanities
  • Waterfall spout gives a wide, flat stream
  • ANSI, IAPMO and NSF listed

  • Matte black coatings on budget faucets can chip or fade
  • 5.91 in height is short for tall or vessel sinks
  • No matching tub or shower trim in most lines

Questions and answers

Is this faucet worth it?
For a guest bath or rental where looks matter more than decades of service, yes. If you want a name-brand cartridge you can replace in ten years, spend more.
Does it fit a 3-hole sink?
Yes. A deck plate is included, so it covers the extra holes on a 3-hole vanity. Without the plate it is a single-hole install.
What is the flow rate, and will it meet code?
It is rated 2.0 GPM. Many US jurisdictions limit bathroom faucets to 1.5 GPM or less, so check local code before buying.
What comes in the box?
The faucet, cartridge valve, drain assembly, deck plate and all mounting hardware. Supply lines are not listed, so confirm before install.
Will the matte black finish last?
Matte black coatings on budget faucets typically hold up a few years with gentle cleaning. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which speed up wear.
When is it cheapest?
Bathroom faucets like this tend to dip during holiday sales and remodeling-season promotions. Check the price history before buying.
