Our take on the HomePop Backless Metal 24" Counter Stool

The HomePop Backless Metal 24" Counter Stool is a backless counter-height stool with a faux-leather seat on a metal frame. The 24-inch seat height fits standard 34- to 36-inch counters, and the 250 lb weight capacity covers most adults. It is a budget-priced accent stool, so expect a simple build rather than heavy-duty construction. It rates 4.6 out of 5 from 295 ratings.

Questions and answers

Will a 24-inch stool fit my counter?
A 24-inch seat height is made for counters about 34 to 36 inches high. Measure from floor to countertop before buying; for a 42-inch bar you need a 30-inch stool.
How much weight does it hold?
The listed capacity is 250 lb. That is fine for most adults, but heavier users should look at stools rated 300 lb or more.
Does it come with a back?
No. This is a backless stool, so it slides under the counter but gives no back support.
Is assembly required?
Yes. You attach the legs and seat, and reviewers say it takes some effort. Check the hardware and tighten bolts after the first week.
How do I clean the faux leather seat?
Wipe it with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh solvents, which can dry out or crack the faux leather.
What do buyers say about the HomePop Backless Metal 24" Counter Stool?
Rated 4.6 out of 5 from 295 ratings.
