Is this the whole mirror or just the cover?

Just the cover. It is the plastic cap that goes over the passenger-side mirror housing. The glass, power adjust motor and any turn signal or blind spot parts are not included.

Will it fit my 2019 Honda Insight?

It is listed for the 2019 Insight passenger side only. Check your model year and side before ordering, since other years and the driver side use different parts.

Do I need to remove the door panel to install it?

No. It mounts with the original mounting points and needs no drilling. Most covers snap or clip onto the housing, though some owners remove the mirror glass for easier access.

Does it come painted to match my car?

It is sold as paint-to-match, so the color depends on the paint code you order. Confirm your Honda color code first; the housing underneath is black textured plastic.

Does it include a blind spot mirror?

No. There is no blind spot mirror or blind spot indicator. The glass is convex for a wider view, but the cover itself adds no visibility features.

When is the best time to buy it?

Prices for body parts like this move little, so buy when you need the repair. Compare the total with shipping, since a small part can be dominated by shipping cost.

Our take on the Honda Insight Passenger Side Mirror Cover

This is the passenger-side mirror cover for the 2019 Honda Insight, a paint-to-match plastic cap that fits over the mirror housing on the door. It uses the original mounting points, so no drilling or modification is needed, and the housing underneath is black textured plastic. It is a cosmetic and protective part, not a full mirror assembly: the glass, power adjust motor and turn signal are separate. Shoppers usually buy it after a curb strike or a cracked original cover, and it is a low-cost fix compared with replacing the whole mirror.
