Our take on the Honeylove SuperPower Short

The Honeylove SuperPower Short is a high-waisted shaping short with medium compression and extra-firm sculpting through the stomach, waist and buttocks. It has a cotton gusset, a boned and lined front, and a tagless, wireless build, and it pulls on rather than zipping or hooking. The best new price is $27.50 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, the low end of what five stores charge for it new.

Pros
  • Firm, targeted compression through the stomach and waist
  • Boned front holds its shape instead of rolling down
  • Cotton gusset for breathability
  • Tagless and wireless, so nothing digs in
  • Pull-on design with no zippers or hooks
Cons
  • Hand wash only
  • Boning can feel rigid and is not for everyone
  • Medium compression rating sits below the firmest shapewear
  • Sizing trips some shoppers up
  • Resale listings may not match Honeylove's own size chart

Questions and answers

Is the Honeylove SuperPower Short worth it?
If you want firm stomach and waist shaping under dresses, it does that job well and reviewers back the hourglass effect. If you dislike boning or want soft everyday shapewear, look elsewhere.
How does it compare with Honeylove's other shaping shorts?
The SuperPower is the firm, boned option aimed at the stomach and waist. Honeylove's softer shorts trade some sculpting for stretch and comfort.
Does it fit true to size?
Honeylove lists it as true to size, but some shoppers had sizing trouble, so check the brand's size chart against your measurements before buying.
Can I machine wash it?
No. Honeylove says hand wash only, so machine washing risks stretching the nylon-spandex blend and warping the boning.
What's in the box?
One pair of shorts. It is a single pull-on piece with no straps, zippers or hooks.
When is it cheapest?
The best new price was $27.50 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, well under typical retail. Resale listings like this come and go, so compare across the five stores before buying.
