Will these fit my 13-gallon kitchen can?

Yes. Hongmed rates the bands for cans from 13 to 30 gallons, and the rubber stretches from about 2.3 to 4.7 ft in perimeter.

Do the metal connectors rust?

The connectors are stainless steel die-cast, which holds up better than plain steel in damp kitchens and garages. Wipe them dry after outdoor use.

Is $5.99 a good price for three bands?

It is the only new price listed as of November 6, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare. At about $2 per band it is in line with similar rubber band sets.

Can I use them outdoors?

Yes, on cans up to 30 gallons. Leaving them in direct sun for long periods can dry out the rubber, so store them out of the sun when not in use.

Three rubber bands, one each in black, blue and green, with stainless steel connectors attached.

Will they work on a rectangular bin?

They fit most rectangular and round cans in the 13-30 gallon range, but very square or oversized lids may let the band slip.
